CRISIS CASE MANAGER

This position is responsible for assisting individuals presenting to the Crisis Response Center in accessing the supports in the citywide mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse network.  Additionally, assess family needs and participate in treatment planning, participate in the delivery of crisis intervention services and work in cooperation with psychiatry and nursing staff. 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field, Master's preferred.  Demonstrated computer skills.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience in Behavioral Health/Crisis Management.

HOURS:  All shifts are available and requires an every other weekend commitment.


 
CASE MANAGER (Utilization Management)

This position is responsible for managing the concurrent and retrospective internal utilization review of patient care services.  Serves as clinical liaison among managed care companies, primary care physicians and referral sources for our patient population.  Obtain authorization for appropriate mental health services.  Facilitate and coordinate the care of patients in all levels of care to promote quality clinically and cost effective patient outcomes.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  BA/BS in Psychology or related field.  MA/MS in Psychology or Licensure in Social Work or Nursing preferred.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:  Two years direct psychiatric clinical experience.  Two years Utilization Review or Managed Care experience preferred.  Demonstrated organizational and customer service skills.

HOURS:  Full Time, this position includes a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.


MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible for delivery patient care services, contribute to treatment plans, support development, customer service and community relations activities.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: 
Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in behavioral healthcare setting.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Must have High School Diploma/GED PLUS a minimum of twelve (12) college credits to be considered for this position. Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field preferred.   Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer literacy required. 

HOURS:  
Per Diem (Mostly evening and night).  Minimum requirement to remain active in per diem pool is five (5) shifts per month, including every other weekend and one summer and winter holiday.
